I need advice on what to do and how to handle the situation. Last week, my girlfriend of four years and I broke up. She says she needs to figure out who she is and how she feels about me. She's tried forcing herself to love me for the past few months, but it just wasn't working. I didn't know she was forcing herself, and so I thought our relationship was getting better and better. The situation made her feel more distant and made her think of me as just a good friend. I want her back, especially after knowing the situation and knowing that it's worth it to me to change and treat her more like my girlfriend and less like a friend/bro.
